CORKEN – Industrial Pumps

Corken provides pumping solutions for the chemical, petrochemical, petroleum, oil and natural gas, liquefied gas, and truck and transport industries. The industrial pump line is comprised of two technologies: regenerative turbine and positive displacement sliding vane. Both offer pumping solutions for a wide range of liquids, differential pressures, and viscosities up to 20,000 SSU. Liquids include but are not limited to ammoniaaviation fuel, fuel oil, lube oil, solvents, and CO2.

Each pump is available with a standard mounting or custom engineered pump skid.

Sliding Vane Pump

Corken offers several industrial sliding vane pumps for a wide range of vapor pressures, differential pressures, and viscosities. All industrial pumps are equipped with an adjustable internal relief valve and feature self-adjusting sliding vanes and vane drivers to improve pumping efficiency. And, maintenance is simple. Removing the pump cover gives full access to the rotor, cam, sideplates, seals, and bearings. Drive options include gear reducer, V-belt, and hydraulic.

Suitable liquids include but are not limited to aviation fuel, fuel oil, lube oil, solvents, and liquefied gases such as LPG, ammonia, and carbon dioxide.

Each product group below is designed for a certain capacity and working pressure.

  • Eliminates alignment issues
  • Forms a compact alignment
  • Available with the PT- and PZ-models only

Turbine Pump

Corken’s regenerative turbine industrial pumps are continuous duty and ideal for low capacity applications with moderate to high differential pressures. The liquid is circulated between the teeth of an impeller rotating between the pump casing and head. Since the impeller is free-floating, there is no metal-to-metal contact so the pump is virtually maintenance free. There are several models supporting a wide range of differential pressures and capacities.

Even though Corken’s turbine pumps were originally developed to fill propane cylinders, they have found their way into applications involving volatile liquid transfer. Commonly applications vaporizer feed, aerosol propellant, cylinder filling, and dispenser applications. Suitable for light liquids such as gasoline, solvents, and light oils and liquefied gases such as ammonia, carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, propane, butane, and refrigerants.
